The Berthe books are a series of storybooks in French aimed at primary school children or others beginning to learn French. They are used in schools but are also excellent for Mums and Dads to read with and to their children. All books contain a vocabulary list and two games.   

Berthe buys an antique mirror. She is warned that it is magic. When she stands in front of it strange things start to happen, ending in disaster.
